Healthy Oats Smoothie For Effective Weight Loss

Oats are humble whole grains that you can enjoy in multiple ways. One such way is to make a filling smoothie by combining the grain with other nutritious ingredients to boost your weight loss journey. The recipe uses pantry staples, and you can enjoy the smoothie for breakfast, as a snack, or as a quick dinner.

Ingredients

1/2 cup rolled oats 1 ripe banana 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk 1 tablespoon of chia seeds 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional) 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional) Ice cubes (optional)

Step 1

In a blender, combine rolled oats, banana, almond milk, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup (if using), and cinnamon (if using).

Step 2

Blend the ingredients for around 60–90 seconds until smooth and creamy.

Step 3

You can adjust the consistency by adding more water or some oats to suit your preference.

Step 4

Add ice cubes if desired for a colder texture.

Step 5

Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately as a nutritious and filling breakfast, dinner, or snack.
