The craving for something sweet and crunchy can sometimes only be satiated with a cookie. But who said you always need to have the guilt of munching cookies? Try this oatmeal raisin cookie recipe for a guilt-free treat.
1.5 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup maida 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup mashed banana 1/4 cup coconut oil 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup raisins
Mix oats, maida, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix mashed bananas, coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir to get a smooth dough. Fold in raisins.
Scoop small portions of the dough, line them in a baking tray, and bake for about 15 minutes.
Once golden brown, take them out. Let them cool before serving.
