Oats pudding is a quick, healthy, and delicious dessert or breakfast option. Made with oats, milk, and natural sweeteners, it offers a creamy, nutritious treat that’s easy to customise with your favourite toppings.
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of rolled oats with 2 cups of milk (or plant-based milk). Stir continuously over medium heat until the oats soften and the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Once thick, add 1-2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup and a pinch of cinnamon or vanilla extract for added flavour.
Transfer the cooked oats into serving bowls or jars and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set. Before serving, garnish with fresh fruits, nuts, or a drizzle of nut butter for extra taste and texture.
