Thalipeeth is a multi-grain flatbread which is a staple snack in Maharashtra. It is particularly healthy due to the ingredients used in the preparation and is often served with yoghurt or chutney to make the meal tastier and nutritious.
1 cup grated cucumber 1 cup mixed flour (jowar, bajra, rice, besan, wheat) 1/2 cup onions 2 green chillies 1/4 cup chopped coriander 1 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for cooking
Grated cucumber, red chilli powder, coriander, cumin seeds, onions, green chillies, turmeric, and salt should all be combined. To get a thick batter, add water.
Warm up some oil in a pan. Partially spread the batter to make a pancake.
Cook for a couple of minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Serve warm with pickle, chutney, or yoghurt.
