Healthy Brownie Baked Oats For Guilt-Free Indulgence

Have your sugar cravings gotten the better of you and requires you to bite into a brownie at the earliest? Make a batch of these healthy brownie-flavoured baked oats to enjoy your sweet treat without piling on the calories.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup coconut milk ¼ cup maple syrup/raw sugar 4 tablespoons peanut butter ¼ cup cocoa powder 1 cup rolled oats 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ¼ cup dark chocolate chips 1 tablespoon flaxseed powder 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts 1 pinch salt

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius while you combine the coconut milk, maple syrup, vanilla essence in a large mixing bowl.

Add the peanut butter, cocoa powder, flaxseed powder and rolled oats and stir to combine thoroughly.

Add half the walnuts and chocolate chips to the mixture along with the baking powder and salt.

Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and top up with the remaining chocolate chips and walnuts.

Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, until set on top and serve warm, with berries or whipped cream on the side.
