Want to indulge in the flavours of the season the healthy way? Here is the perfect, winter-special Matar Kachori recipe you can make in an air fryer and snack on.

FOR THE DOUGH 1 cup whole wheat flour 2 tbsp semolina 1 tsp carom seeds 3 tsp ghee ⅛ tsp baking soda Salt to taste FOR FILLING 1 Cup any mixture/ ratlami sev/ bhijia sev/ chiwda 1 tbsp tamarind chutney FOR SERVING Green coriander mint chutney Tamarind chutney

Sieve flour in a bowl. Add semolina. Add carom seeds, salt, baking powder and ghee. Rub well add water and knead a soft dough. Keep aside covered for an hour.

In a mixer jar add mixture/sev and grind to smooth powder. Take it out in a bowl and mix tamarind paste. It should be slightly moist.

Now divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Take one portion, roll slightly into a ball and then shape it like a bowl.

Fill in it a spoonful of filling in the ball. Cover it with dough completely and then press to flatten. Repeat with all the portions.

Now preheat air fryer for 5 minutes and then place the kachori in it. Brush some oil and cook at 200 degrees for 5 minutes.

Flip and then lower the temperature to 170 degrees and cook for another 8 minutes. Cook till golden and crisp.

Serve hot with green coriander chutney and tamarind chutney.
