Dahi Batata Puri is a mouth-watering chaat where each bite offers a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, tangy, and creamy flavours. This refreshing and flavourful snack is easy to make at home and will disappear from the plates almost as soon as they are placed there.
30-40 store-bought puris 3 potatoes 1 tsp chaat masala 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 2 cups plain yoghurt 1-2 tbsp sugar Tamarind chutney Green chutney
1/2 cup sev 1/4 cup coriander leaves 1/4 cup onions 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds Chaat masala
In a bowl, combine the boiled and mashed potatoes with chaat masala, red chilli powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk the yoghurt, add sugar and a pinch of salt. Arrange the puris on a plate.
Gently crack the top of each puri to create an opening for the filling. Fill each puri with a teaspoon of the spiced potato mixture.
Spoon the sweetened yoghurt over the potato-filled puris. Drizzle tamarind chutney and green chutney.
Sprinkle sev, finely chopped fresh coriander leaves, add finely chopped onions and pomegranate.
