Idli chaat is an impeccable fusion of South India’s speciality, idli and North India’s finger-licking chaat. If you have leftover idlis, it is just the best thing to make. Why don’t you try this easy recipe this evening?
Steamed idlis - 8 Curd - 1/2 cup Chopped onions - 1/4 cup Chopped cilantro - 2 tablespoons Tamarind chutney Green chutney Sev - 1 tablespoon Oil - 1 tablespoon Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon Salt and pepper
Chop the steamed idlis into 5-6 pieces. Shallow fry the idlis till they are crispy.
Prepare the chaat mixture by adding the chopped idlis to the curd.
Coat the idlis well, and then add chopped onions and cilantro.
Add tamarind and green chutney and mix well. Sprinkle chaat masala, salt, and pepper to taste.
Garnish with sev and enjoy the fusion dish.
