Sore throat can be treated with homemade remedies and medicines. Eating foods that are soft and mushy and warm can help your throat feel better. Foods like soup, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs and pasta can really help. However, there are foods that can aggravate the situation. Here are 6 foods you must avoid when you have a sore throat.

Avoid spicy food and seasoning of any kind. Even if you have a soft corner for spice, they add extra pain to your throat so skip them.

Citrus fruits are acidic and can irritate your throat so it's best to avoid them.
