A well-known vegetarian meal from India's Haryana state. Along with other flavorful spices, it is cooked with fresh, green chickpeas and fresh coriander leaves.
2 cups fresh green chickpeas (hara chana), shelled 2 cups fresh coriander leaves, chopped 1 onion, chopped 2-3 garlic cloves, minced 1 inch ginger, grated 2 green chillies, chopped 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1/2 tsp garam masala powder Salt, to taste 2 tbsp oil
Take a pan and Heatl oil. Add the cumin seeds, chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chillies.
Sauté well now add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder to the pan.
Now Add the shelled green chickpeas to the pan and coat them with spices. Add the chopped coriander leaves and Cook.
1. Add in salt to taste and mix well. Serve hot with roti or paratha. Enjoy your Hara Dhaniya Cholia!
