Halloween 2024: Make Delicious Homemade Sugar Candies For The Spooky Festival

Kids grow crazy over Halloween sweets. Try to make delicious homemade Halloween candies for your loved ones.

Ingredients

2 cups granulated sugar 1 cup water 1/4 cup light corn syrup 1/4 tsp cream of tartar 1/4 tsp flavouring extract (e.g., raspberry, lemon, orange, mint)

Equipments

Candy thermometer Small silicone candy moulds Parchment paper

Step 1

Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, and cream of tartar.

Step 2

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until it reaches the hard-ball stage of 121°C. 

Step 3

Remove the pan from the heat and immediately stir in the flavouring extract. 

Step 4

Pour the candy mixture into your silicone moulds.

Step 5

Let cool. Store the candies in an airtight container at room temperature.
