Cherry Jam is a delicious condiment to serve alongside bread, cookies or even cake. Made with ripe, juicy cherries and cooked with sugar, this sweet, tangy preserve is easy to make.
4 cups fresh cherries 2 cups granulated sugar 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wash all the cherries properly.
Pit out all the cherries after washing.
Combine cherries, sugar, lemon juice, and salt.
Boil and thicken.
Serve instantly.
