This summer try this Bael sharbat, also known as wood apple sharbat, is a refreshing and cooling beverage super heathy and gut friendly popular in many parts of India.
1 ripe bael fruit 1 cup water 2 tbsp sugar 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder 1/2 tsp black salt Ice cubes ( as desired) Fresh mint leaves
Cut the ripe bael fruit in half and scoop out the pulp using a spoon.
Place the bael pulp in a bowl and add water. Now Mash the pulp to extract the juice.
Now Strain it through a sieve. Add sugar to the strained bael juice and stir well.
Add roasted cumin powder and black salt (if using) to the juice and mix well.
Now add desired amount of ice and serve it chilled. Garnish with mint and enjoy!
