Gujarati thepla is a flatbread that can be savoured as a healthy breakfast or even as a mid-meal snack. Made with just whole wheat flour, besan, methi, and spices, you can whip up methi thepla.

Mix atta, besan, methi, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, and salt.
Add in buttermilk and water and knead till you get a smooth dough.
Take small portions of the dough and roll each of them into thin disks.
Heat a tawa and cook the thepla on both sides till golden brown.
Transfer it to a plate and serve with chutney or achaar.
