Khakras might be traditional, crunchy Gujarati snacks but you can easily turn them into heavier and yummier chaat with the addition of just a few ingredients. Bursting with tangy, sweet, and spicy flavours, this one makes for a unique snack experience.
4 plain khakras 1/2 cup boiled chickpeas 1/2 cup chopped onions 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp sweet tamarind chutney 2 tbsp green chutney 1/2 tsp chaat masala Salt to taste Sev for garnish
Break khakras into small pieces and arrange them on a serving plate.
Top the khakra pieces with boiled chickpeas, chopped onions, and tomatoes.
Drizzle sweet tamarind chutney and green chutney over the khakra chaat.
Sprinkle chaat masala and salt evenly across the chaat.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and sev. Serve immediately and enjoy!
