Tomato wheat pizza is a wholesome and delicious dish, perfect for a quick and healthy meal. Made with a whole wheat crust and topped with fresh tomatoes.
2 cups whole wheat flour 1 tsp active dry yeast 1 cup warm water 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp salt 3 large tomatoes, sliced 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1 tsp dried oregano Fresh basil leaves Salt and pepper to taste
Dissolve yeast in warm water, add wheat flour, oil, and salt. Mix well and knead until smooth.
Now, cover the dough with a cloth and let rise for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 220°C. Roll the dough into a pizza base.
Place the rolled dough on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper.
Arrange sliced tomatoes evenly over the dough. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and dried oregano.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves. Slice and serve hot.
