Choose a container with good drainage make sure the container is at least 6-8 inches deep.
Spring onions prefer well-draining soil rich in organic matter that is light and loose, along with compost to improve its texture and fertility.
Water the onions regularly, especially during dry spells and avoid overhead watering to prevent foliage diseases.
Place your spring onion container in a location where it receives at least 6-8 hours of full sun but have partial shade.
If you may have planted seeds densely, thin them out once they reach a few inches tall to allow the remaining plants adequate space to grow and develop.
Leave about an inch of the plant above the soil to encourage regrowth since proper care can produce multiple harvests from the same plant.
