Many people store leftover rice in the refrigerator and forget about it. Not many know that it is a binding ingredient that can be used to prepare crispy cutlets. Here is a must-try recipe.
2 cups cooked rice 2 tbsp coriander leaves ½ tsp cumin, coriander ¼ tsp red chilli powder Oil as needed Salt to taste ½ tsp garam masala 4 tbsp besan ½ cup mashed potatoes ½ cup onion ½ cup bell peppers
Keep the leftover rice on the counter to bring them to room temperature.
Cut the vegetables and toss them with spices.
Make small balls with vegetables and coat these with leftover mashed rice.
You can give any shape to these cutlets.
Heat a griddle with some oil and place the cutlets on it.
Once both sides are cooked and crispy, enjoy the cutlets with a sauce of your choice.
