Got Bread? Make This Bread Pudding At Home

Turn your day-old sliced bread into a dessert that your kids will love. Make this comforting bread pudding at home to see for yourself.

You'll need, 6 cups of stale sliced bread, 2 cups milk, 3 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 2 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp nutmeg.

In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Butter the sides of a squared casserole and keep it aside.

Cut the sliced bread into quarters and spread them evenly on the bottom of the casserole.

Pour the mixture evenly over the bread, getting all the bread wet from the mixture.

Let the bread sit for 25-30 minutes to soak up the milk and egg mixture.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake it for 50 minutes, or till the pudding has risen in size.

Serve it warm with a dollop of whipped cream on the side.
