Goli Idli Or Steamed Rice balls: Perfect For Breakfast

Ingredients

For dough 1 cup water  1/2 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp 1 cup rice flour 1 tsp ghee

For Tadka 1 tsp oil 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp urad adal 1/2 tsp chana dal 2 whole red chilies Handuful of curry leaves Handul of coriander leaves Salt as per taste 1 tsp red chilly powder 1 tsp sesame seeds 1/4 cup water

Step 1

Boil water in a pan and add rice flour. Let it simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.

After the mixture cools down a little bit, grease the hands and start making small balls.

Grease the steaming vessel and place the rice balls to it. Steam the balls.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Add urad dal, chana dal and red chilies.

Step 5

Thereafter, add the tadka ingredients and sauté. Put little water and add the rice balls.

Mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves and sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy!
