The popularity of vegan milk is at an all-time high, and cashew milk is one of the widely consumed options among the different varieties. Although you can have store-bought cashew milk, making it at home is far more rewarding. Here's a recipe for you to try:
1 cup raw cashews 4 cups water Optional: sweetener, vanilla extract, pinch of salt
Soak cashews in water for 4 hours or overnight. Drain and rinse.
Blend cashews with 4 cups of fresh water until smooth.
Strain through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth and add sweetener, vanilla, and salt; blend again.
Refrigerate and shake well before use.
