Move over peanut butter and try this incredibly creamy and nutty spread with a hint of sweetness. Made from a few basic ingredients, cashew butter will become your new favourite spread. It is rich, versatile, and comes together fairly quickly.
2 cups raw cashews 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
Roast cashews for 10 to 12 minutes at 350°F/175°C.
In a food processor, pulse roasted cashews until smooth, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides.
Taste and add salt, then combine once more. Keep in a sealed container for maximum freshness.
