Made with the goodness of this iron-rich fruit, try breakfast recipes with bananas. Dunk it in a dosa or add it to a bowl of porridge and enjoy.
The dosa batter is made with a combination of rice flour and mashed bananas. To add to the sweetness of the dosa, jaggery is stuffed in it too.
Make the porridge by cooking the grain in milk. Chop a few bananas and add top the porridge with it, along with a drizzle of honey.
How about amping up your French toast for next morning? Try adding sliced banana pieces to the cooked french toast and sandwiching it between two slices.
A bun-shaped Indian bread from Mangalore, these Mangalore buns are puffed up breads made with a dough of overripe bananas and all-purpose flour. This is usually paired with coconut chutney.
Take a blender, throw in banana chunks, pineapple chunks and pineapple juice. Blend it until it forms a smooth paste and drink up.
