Godfather Cocktail: Is It Really Based On The Movie?

What makes cocktails like Godfather interesting is their unknown origins. However several stories revolve around the same suggesting it was based on Marlon Brando’s character. 

The American adaptation of The Godfather, featuring an Italian mob, who’s protagonist, Marlon loved this drink and hence, was named after his character. But the true story remains unknown. 

Ingredients

• 30ml whiskey • 30ml amaretto  

Step 1

Take a chilled glass filled with ice cubes and pour both the liquers one after another. 

Step 2

Stir gently and mix well.  

Step 3

Instead of taking equal parts of both the liquors, you can also prepare it in a one-to-two ratio of amaretto to whiskey.
