Think of a crisp, warm outer shell encasing a scoop of cold ice cream – offering a delicious play of texture and temperature. Serve the dessert with a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce for extra decadence.
4 scoops vanilla ice cream 1 small packet biscuits, crushed 1 tablespoon milk 2 eggs Oil, for deep frying
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the ice cream scoops at a safe distance from each other.
Once scooped, use a spoon to give them the desired spherical shape and allow it to sit in the freezer for 4-5 hours.
Meanwhile, place the crushed biscuits in a saucer while you whisk the eggs and milk in another bowl.
Bring the oil to heat while you detach each frozen scoop from the parchment and coat with a layer of egg and coating with biscuits.
Gently drop the scoop into the hot oil and fry for 1 minute, until the outer cover is golden-brown.
Serve immediately with add-ons of your choice and enjoy.
