Samosas are great snacks especially to have in the monsoon. While the popular filling for the crispy, savoury snack is spiced potatoes and peas, the fried pockets can be filled with all kinds of savoury and sweet fillings. Experiment with your favourite ingredients and make gourmet samosas.
A nutritious and tasty filling, chickpea and spinach samosas combine cooked chickpeas with sautéed spinach, onions, and a mix of spices. This filling is packed with protein and iron.
The samosas are filled with minced lamb cooked with onions, garlic, ginger, and a blend of spices such as cumin, coriander, and garam masala.
The filling is made from crumbled paneer (Indian cottage cheese) mixed with spices, onions, and sometimes green peas or bell peppers.
The stuffing is made of minced or shredded chicken cooked with onions, garlic, ginger, and a blend of spices.
These samosas feature a combination of finely chopped vegetables such as carrots, peas, potatoes, and green beans, seasoned with a variety of spices.
For a sweet twist, fill the samosas with a mixture of grated coconut, sugar, cardamom, nuts and raisins.
Use a filling made from sautéed mushrooms and melted cheese, with a touch of garlic and herbs.
