Ginger Tea: Your Go-To Elixir to Relieve Dry Cough Discomfort

Ginger tea is a natural cure that can help soothe a dry cough. Ginger tea, with its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial characteristics, can provide soothing relief from irritating and uncomfortable coughs. 

Step 1 

In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the thinly sliced ginger to the boiling water. 

Step 2 

Reduce the heat to low and let the ginger simmer for about 5-7 minutes, allowing its flavors to infuse the water. 

Step 3 

If desired, add honey to sweeten the tea and lemon juice to enhance its soothing properties. 

Step 4 

Strain the ginger tea into a cup, discarding the ginger slices. Sip the warm ginger tea slowly to ease your dry cough and soothe your throat.
