Ginger tea is a beloved beverage cherished for its soothing and invigorating qualities. Ginger tea is not only a comforting drink but also renowned for its numerous health benefits. It has been a traditional remedy for alleviating nausea, aiding digestion, and reducing inflammation for centuries. Ingredients

1 inch chunk of fresh ginger sliced into pieces 1 cup water 1 cinnamon stick 1 inch piece of fresh turmeric Sprigs of fresh mint 1 thin round of fresh lemon/honey

Step 1 

Combine the sliced ginger and water in a saucepan. Boil over high heat.

Step 2 

Add cinnamon stick, turmeric and fresh mint. Bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce the heat as necessary and let it maintain a gentle simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3 

Remove the pot from the heat. Carefully pour the mixture through a mesh sieve into a cup.

Serve with a lemon or a drizzle of honey to taste.
