Plain idli is borning, spice it up with some podi and ghee. Soft idlis coated in ghee and aromatic spice powder, creating a delectable fusion of flavours.
Idlis- preferably leftover or freshly steamed 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter) 2 tbsp podi (spice powder) Fresh coriander leaves for garnish (optional)
Take idlis and warm them up. Cut the idlis into bite-sized pieces or break them into small chunks.
Now in a pan Heat ghee. Add the idli pieces to the pan and toss them gently to coat them evenly with ghee.
Sprinkle the podi (spice powder) over the idlis accordingly. Stir well to coat well.
Cook the idlis for a few minutes, Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot!
