Ghee Mysore Pak is known for its melt-in-mouth texture and soft mouthfeel, which are commonly seen in South Indian cuisine. It is prepared using staple ingredients like ghee, sugar, and gram flour. Here's a quick recipe for you to try:
1 cup gram flour (besan) 1 cup ghee 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup water
Heat 1/4 cup of ghee, add gram flour, and roast until golden. Set aside.
Boil sugar and water to a one-string consistency.
Add gram flour to syrup, and stir. Gradually add the remaining ghee, stirring until the mixture leaves the sides.
Pour into a greased pan, spread evenly, cool, and cut into pieces.
