Made with small mourala or carplet fish, this pakora tastes amazing as an evening snack and also goes well with simple dal-chawal. Check out the recipe and give it a try now!

2 cups mourala fish, cleaned 1 cup onions, finely sliced ½ cup gram flour 4 tbsp rice flour 2 green chillies, finely chopped ½ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp cumin powder ½ tsp garam masala Salt, to taste Water, as required Oil, for frying

Place the clean mourala fish in a large bowl, then add the onions, green chillies and spices.

Rub everything well together, then add the gram flour and rice flour. Mix well again.

Gradually add water to make a thick pakora batter.

Heat oil in a wok and add spoonfulls of the batter one by one. Fry until the pakoras are cooked and golden brown.
