Get Over Regular Samosa, Try Hyderabadi Lukhmi

Ingredients

200 gm minced mutton 300 gm all-purpose flour 100 gm onions 10 gm green chillies 10 gm red chillies 10 gm salt 5 gm carom seeds 10 gm cumin seeds powder 5 gm turmeric powder

Ingredients

5 gm garam masala 15 gm chilli powder 10 gm coriander seeds powder 10 gm ginger-garlic paste 150 ml ghee 750 ml oil

Step 1

Take flour and sieve it properly. Heat ghee in a pan and add it to the flour.

Step 2

Add salt, carom seeds and knead into a semi-soft dough. Cover the dough with a moist cloth and let it rest.

Step 3

Remove excess water from clean minced meat. Heat a pan and add ghee, spices and onions. Sauté till it turns translucent.

Step 4

Add ginger-garlic paste, chilies and salt. After it is cooked, add the minced meat and sauté until the moisture is released.

Step 5

Cook till fat comes on the surface. Add water and spices like garam masala powder.

Step 6

Knead the dough again. Roll out it into equal rectangular sheets. Place the meat on the lower half and line edges with water.

Step 7

Seal the sheet properly using a knife. In a kadhai, heat oil and add pastry in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown.

Step 8

Turn off the heat and remove excess oil. Serve with a chutney and enjoy!
