2 1/2 cups gram flour 1 1/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup milk Orange food colouring Ghee to deep fry 1 tbsp green cardamom seeds 10 almonds blanched 10 pistachios blanched

Boil 3 cups of water and add sugar to it. Cook sugar and make a syrup of one thread consistency.

Add milk and when the scum rises to the top, remove it. Now, add food colouring and keep it aside.

Now, make a thin batter of besan with three cups of water and colouring.

Heat a kadhai and add ghee. Using a perforated spoon, pour a little batter and pass it over to make boondi. Fry.

Remove the boondis, drain and put it into the syrup. When the boondis have absorbed the syrup, add cardamom seeds and mix.

Divide the portions and make laddoo. Garnish with almonds, and pistachios and serve.
