1/2 cup singhara or water chestnut flour 1/3 cup sugar 1/5 cup water 1/4 tsp cardamom powder 2 tbsp ghee

In a pan, add ghee and heat it on medium flame. Then, add singhara or water chestnut flour to it.

Roast the flour slowly while constantly stirring. When the colour changes, turn off the flame.

Slowly add lukewarm water and keep stirring. Make sure there are no lumps. Stir constantly.

After 5 mins, add sugar and cardamom powder and stir for 5 more minutes. Once thick, turn off the flame.

Once the fudge is ready, transfer it to a greased tray and garnish it with shredded coconut.
