Fun And Appetising Jalapeno Poppers

These simple baked jalapeo poppers make a tasty starter or snack on game day!

 They are stuffed with a creamy, tangy combination of Greek yoghurt, cheddar cheese, garlic, and chive instead of the customary cream cheese filling.

Ingredients

1 cup Greek yogurt 12 jalapeño peppers ¼ cup grated cheddar cheese 3 tablespoons chives 2 garlic cloves ½ teaspoon onion powder ½ heaping teaspoon sea salt ⅛ teaspoon smoked paprika 6 tablespoons panko bread crumbs Olive oil 

Step 1

First Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Halve the jalapenos and scoop out the seeds and ribs. Mix the yoghurt, cheese, 2 tablespoons of chives, onion powder, salt, smoked paprika, and garlic in a small bowl.

Step 3

After adding the yoghurt mixture, crumbs , and olive oil, bake the jalapeo halves for 15 to 20 minutes. Wait till they are golden brown. Take them out from the oven and garnish with the chives.
