Tea time is incomplete without namkeen, and when one talks about namkeen, nimki is one of the most basic kinds. Nimki can be very easily customised to your liking too; even kids love them. Know how to make them easily in your house.

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup ghee, melted 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt Water, as needed Oil for frying

Step 1

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt.

Step 2

Add melted ghee and water to the flour mixture, kneading to form a dough.

Step 3

Roll out the dough into thin sheets.

Step 4

Use a knife or a cookie cutter to cut the dough into desired shapes, such as diamonds or squares.

Step 5

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the cut pieces of dough until they turn golden brown and crisp.

Step 6

Drain the fried nimki on paper towels and let them cool completely.
