Fruits For Breakfast? Avoid These For Sure

While most of us believe that fruits could be a great breakfast and an excellent way to start your day, some of them can do more harm than good. 

Avoiding certain fruits for breakfast is ideal because they can shoot up your sugar levels, increase acidity or disrupt your weight-loss journey by adding calories to your meal. 

Mangoes 

While this summer fruit is known as the King of Fruits, mangoes contain tons of sugar which when consumed frequently, shoots up the blood sugar levels and aren’t good for diabetics. 

Grapes 

At first, grapes mind seem harmless. But in reality, they are a calorie-rich fruit that quickly turns sugar into fats and interferes with your healthy diet. 

Oranges 

Citrus-based fruits like oranges, when consumed on an empty stomach, can cause inflammation and acidity and aren’t a good idea for those who suffer from these ailments. 

Lychee 

If you’re on a low-carb/sugar diet, lychee is not most smart choice for breakfast as it contains a good amount calories, along with vitamins and other nutrients. 

Prunes 

A dried fruit, made from plums, prunes are high in calories and sugar. They also contain a good amount of carbs, which when consumed in large quantities is not good early in the morning. 

Bananas 

Easy to peel and eat, bananas are a quick breakfast when you are in a rush but they contain so much sugar and fat that eating on an empty stomach might not be a good idea.
