Smoothies are a great way to increase your daily servings of fruits and vegetables. One of the healthiest ways to enjoy a smoothie is to make your own at home to avoid unnecessary added sugar. Adding protein and fiber will help keep you full and provide antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Here's the recipe for fruit and yogurt smoothie.

1 cup strawberries 1 banana ½ cup yogurt ¼ cup pineapple juice 1 ½ tsp white sugar 1 tsp orange juice 1 tsp milk

Combine strawberries, banana, yogurt, pineapple juice, sugar, orange juice, and milk in a blender; blend until smooth.

You may substitute the strawberries for any other berries or fruit. Add in crushed ice for a cooler version.
