Baking a cake is an art. Beautiful cakes are made by the perfection of their icing. If you are a new baker, we have some tips for you to get your cake frosting right!
Start frosting your cake only if the sponge has cooled down to a normal level.
Put a dollop of frosting on your cake plate. That will prevent the cake from scooting.
If your frosting is too runny, add in frosting sugar to it. It makes it a little stiff.
If your frosting is too stiff, add in a little milk or cream to make the icing smooth.
Play around with your frosting. Add fresh fruits, berries or sprinkles to your cake.
