Fresh Tumeric Frappuccino For A Dose Of Self-Care

If you want to redeem yourself from a night of drinking and partying, skip the usual cup of coffee and try this halkund frappucino packed with restorative spices which scream good health.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup milk 2 black peppercorns ½ teaspoon cardamom powder 1 teaspoon fresh turmeric root, grated ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder ¼ teaspoon dry ginger powder 1 pinch saffron strands 1 teaspoon raw sugar/honey ½ teaspoon ghee

METHOD

Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan and allow it to cool slightly.

METHOD

Add a couple of spoons of milk to the saffron and allow it to steep for a few minutes.

METHOD

Add the remaining spices and fresh turmeric to the milk and cover the saucepan.

METHOD

Once rested for ten minutes, strain into a cup and add the honey and ghee, along with the saffron milk.

METHOD

Use a hand blender to froth the strained milk and serve warm.
