Fresh And Delectable Strawberry Mousse Cake For Dessert

Here is a recipe for a delicious strawberry mousse cake, try this at home and enjoy the rich strawberry taste with cream.

Ingredients

For the crust 1 1/2 cups of cookie crumbs 1/4 cup of melted butter 1/4 cup of granulated sugar For for the mousse 2 cups of fresh strawberries 1 cup of heavy cream 1/2 cup of granulated sugar 1/4 cup of water 2 tablespoons of gelatin 2 tablespoons of lemon juice

Step 1

Start by Preheating the oven to 350°F (180°C). Now in a bowl combine cookie  crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.

Step 2

Now Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then cool down.

Step 3

Now In a blender puree the strawberries until smooth. Take a saucepan, heat the water and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.

Step 4

Add the gelatin to the sugar syrup and stir until dissolved. Now Add the gelatin mixture and lemon juice to the strawberry puree.

Step 5

Mix them well together. Take a bowl and beat the heavy cream until foamy. Gently fold the whipped cream into the strawberry mixture.

Step 6

Now Pour the strawberry mousse over the cooled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.

Step 7

Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until the mousse is set. Once done, remove it gently.

Step 8

Now Slice and serve your delicious strawberry mousse cake! Garnish with strawberries, whipped cream. Enjoy!
