Try some French Onion Dip and spoil your taste buds. This velvety dip recipe shared by chef, Sneha Singhi Upadhaya is always a hit at gatherings, and it also makes a great snack or side dish.
1 tbsp butter or more 3 onions, sliced Pinch of sugar Salt to taste 200 gms paneer 4 tbsp mayonnaise 1/4 cup hung curd Salt to taste 1 tsp pepper 2 tbsp milk (optional)
Heat butter in a pan. Add in the onions, salt & sugar. Cook till the onions brown.
Once you see the onions browning, add 2 ice cubes to the pan & cook till the onions completely caramelize.
Blend together paneer, hung curd, mayonnaise, salt & pepper till smooth. You can also add in 2 tbsp lukewarm milk to make this smoother.
Mix this well with the caramelized onions. You can store this in the fridge for a week or serve immediately with some toast, snacks & dig in.!
