Forget Lentils And Rice, Make Instant Poha Dosa

While making traditional dosa, you have to first soak lentils and rice, and leave the batter to ferment for 6-8 hours. The preparation process is 16 hours long. However, if you are craving dosa right now, try an instant recipe using poha.

Ingredients

1 cup water 1 cup poha 1 cup rava ½ tsp salt 1 cup curd ½ tsp baking soda

Step 1

Grind poha and combine the blend with rava.

Step 2

Add water and curd to the dry ingredients.

Step 3

Sprinkle salt and keep the mixture aside for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Meanwhile, prepare aloo mixture.

Step 5

Right before cooking, mix baking soda in the batter.

Step 6

Spread a thin layer of batter on a hot tawa, and enjoy crispy dosa with chutney.
