Irani Chai

While entering the city note that tea shops and cafes are selling aromatic Irani chai. This creamy, milky tea, infused with sugar and spices such as cardamom, is the ideal beverage to kick off the tour on a sweet and energetic note.

Osmaia Biscuit And Other Baked Items

The city is home to some of the country's oldest and best bakeries. Aside from the buttery Osmania biscuits, definitely try the local bakeries' cream rolls and buns, jam rolls, fruit biscuits, and so on.

Haleem

It's a delectable stew prepared with meat, dal, dry fruits, ghee, saffron, and other ingredients. Haleem is offered hot with fried onions and lemon juice and is a filling meal at any time of day.

Paaya

Paaya is a hot and spicy stew made from lamb trotters. The soup is gelatinous and filled with masalas; it is served hot with naan, sheermal, and other dishes.

Lukhmi

Lukhmi means ' morsel' in Urdu, which is why they are served in bite-sized pieces that have been perfectly fried. They are typically triangular in shape, with a flaky pastry crust filled with keema or aloo fillings. Serve with pudina chutney
