Fish Nuggets: A Perfect Appetizer For Your Next House Party

Ingredients

450 gm fish fillets, ¾ cup all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp corn-starch, ¼ tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp baking soda, ¼ tsp salt, ¾ cup water, 1 cup oil

Step 1

In a bowl, mix flour, corn starch, baking powder, baking soda, salt and water until smooth. In a deep bottomed pan, heat enough oil for deep frying.

Step 2

Dip the fillets in the batter and coat them evenly. Once the oil is hot enough, carefully drop the fish nuggets in the oil.

Step 3

Deep-fry until crispy, golden brown all over and drain to remove excess oil.

Step 4

Season with salt and pepper and serve hot with your favourite dip or sauce.
