Ragi or finger millet is a very healthy ingredient and custard made from it is delicious. If you have never tried it, you should follow our simple recipe for the dish.

Ingredients

1 cup ragi or finger milletr 1 cup grated coconut Water 1/2 cup jaggery 2 tbsp ghee 1/2 tsp cardamom powder 1 pinch salt

Step 1

Soak the ragi overnight and then put it in the blender with coconut and water. Extract the milk out of it using a sieve.

Step 2

In a pan, add the extracted milk, jaggery, salt and cardamom powder. When it thickens, add a tbsp of ghee.

Step 3

Grease a plate with ghee and pour the custard. Let it chill for a couple hours and enjoy!
