1 cup besan ¼ tsp crushed black peppercorns Salt to taste ¼ tsp ajwain ¼ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp hing ¼ cup water 1 tbsp oil Oil for frying

Mix besan, crushed pepper, salt, ajwain, baking soda, and hing. Add a little water and make a soft dough.

Now, drizzle oil on the dough. Grease your palm and make the dough smooth by kneading it for 7-8 mins.

Cover the dough for 15-20 mins. Divide the dough into equal portions and make balls. Heat oil for deep frying.

Keep the dough on a wooden board. Now press one end slightly and stretch the dough to make it around 6 inches long.

Now using a long knife, remove it from the board. Drop into hot oil and fry. Repeat with other dough balls.

Fry both sides till they get crisp and cooked. When done, serve warm or at room temperature.
