Fasting On Monday? Enjoy This Delightful Fruit Salad

After celebrating Karwa Chauth on Sunday, people are observing their routine fasts on Monday. To ensure that this does not lead to dehydration and that your body remains energised, try this hearty fruit salad.

Ingredients

1 kiwi 1 apple 1 orange 1 banana 1/2 papaya 5-6 strawberries A handful of berries 3 tbsp pomegranate seeds 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp rock salt 1 tsp chaat masala

Step 1

Remove the peel of kiwi and dice it.

Step 2

Remove the peel of an apple and dice it as well. Repeat the process with papaya and banana.

Step 3

After removing the peel and fibre of orange, remove the skin and add to the bowl.

Step 4

Dice the strawberries and fold in the pomegranate seeds. You can also cut berries in half.

Step 5

Enjoy this fruit salad at home. You can skip chaat masala if you don’t consume it while fasting.
