Fasting during Navratri involves relishing lightweight but nutritious food. Sago or tapioca pearls are the common choices among devotees. This is a short guide to help you make sabudana vada at home.
1 cup boiled potatoes 1 tbsp coriander leaves ½ cup sabudana 1-2 green chillies 1 tbsp grated ginger 1.5 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp flour Salt to taste ½ tsp cumin powder ¼ cup peanuts Ghee for frying
Boil potatoes and soak sabudana for 4-6 hours.
Roast peanuts and crush them.
Combine potatoes, sago, and peanuts.
Add powdered spices, chopped chillies, coriander, ginger, and salt.
Grease your palms with ghee and make vadas with the blend.
Deep-fry sabudana vadas and enjoy with mint chutney.
