Farah Khan is known to be a great director, choreographer, reality TV judge and an occasional cook. She swears by karara bhindi and here is a simple recipe for you to try.

250 grams bhindi 2 tsp atta 1 cup besan 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon amchur Salt to taste Oil for deep frying

Slice the bhindi into thin strips. In a mixing bowl, combine besan and atta with the powdered spices, and salt.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Dip the bhindi strips into the besan batter, ensuring they are well coated.

Fry until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove the karara bhindi with a slotted spoon and enjoy hot!
